Yoga was my saving grace. It is where I found community, peace of mind, calmness, and a better understanding of myself.
I lived in the Southeast my entire life, and nearly five years ago my family and I moved to Central Washington. Here, I had been uprooted to what felt like a foreign country with a 3-year-old and a 7-week-old. I came to hot yoga 3 years ago shortly after moving, stepping into my first class with the intention of losing the last of my baby weight. I very quickly realized yoga was so much more than a workout. My passion for yoga began to grow.
It’s hard moving away from family and everything you’ve ever known, all while raising two small children. Yoga picked me up out of some dark times. It not only healed my mind, but my body as well. I look forward to helping others through the power of yoga.
